As a class, we were assigned the task of setting ourself 5 targets that we aim to reach by the end of the year.

The first target i want to set myself for this year is to keep a well organised and planned out folder of class work notes. This also includes keeping my blog up to date and easily understandable. I want to achieve this because last year I found myself considerably behind in work which meant i always had to catch up by rushing my work. This meant it was not done to the highest standard that i could achieve... I will achieve this target by frequently cross checking the work that has been set with the work that i have done. This will give me a clear picture of how up to date with my work i am.

The second target i want to set myself is to learn the key words associated with media as this will help me extend my range of vocabulary for the exam. I also want to learn all the equipment needed and processes required in order to produca a film. The way in which i will improve in this is to familiarise myself with the rules of filming, filming techniques and the equipment used in the production of a film.

The third target i want to set myself is to fully learn and understand how to use the edit suite. I want to improve on this as in my AS year i struggled with the edit suite which meant i wasted a lot of time making mistakes and this cost me editing hours as i was constantly asking for help. In my A2 year my aim is to be able to complete my editing with little hastle and mistakes as possible. The way i will improve on this is to practice using this suite and familiarise myself with its particular functions.
Producing a short clip and editing it on the suite will also help me improve my skills.

The fourth target i want to set myself is to be able to give imput in any class discussion. I want to be able to express my opinion on the matter and clearly show that i understand the discussion and act on my knowledge which will be reflected in my private study.

My fifth and final target is to be able to meet all my deadlines that are set to ensure that i have enough time to redraft the work to get the gardes that i require. I will achieve this by spending more time on private study at home and during school to ensure that all my work is completed to the best of my ability.
